Our Morning Dew is full-bodied and vegetal in flavor, leaving a lingering sweetness on the palate. It is similar to Japanese greens, but softer in taste, with refreshing hints of melon. The tea itself is known for its long delicate leaves, which are quickly fired to turn a dark jade green.
This method of firing tea is a Southern Song dynasty invention, and has led to the way in which present day green teas are produced.
