Li Shan - Early Winter 2011
More about this item ....
A light, toasty beginning followed by a sweet, floral middle and a squash-like aftertaste.
Li Shan is one of the highest mountains in Taiwan, located at the junction of three counties: Nantou, Taichung, Hua Lian. The weather on this mountain is cool and foggy all year long, reducing the harsh and bitter flavors in the leaves, leaving a sweeter leaf, but also limiting production to only two harvests a year.
