Darjeeling Black Tea Margaret's Hope Estate - Second Flush

A darker and less floral Darjeeling tea, with strong notes of fruit over a solid, astringent base. The story goes that the estate was named for the daughter of it's first owner, who hoped to return after her first visit but died before she could.

Darjeeling is an area in Northeastern India, nestled in the Himalayas a mile above sea level. It is renowned for producing wonderful, delicately flavored teas, floral, fruity, and almost spicy. They are popular in Britain, and often called the Champagne of teas.
